Exactly what our basement needed this fall and winter
We were looking for some way to get radiant heat in the basement to make it more enjoyable to watch tv and hang out. This heated mat has turned our area rug into the favorite place for all family members especially the cats.

UNDER RUG RAIDIANT FLOOR HEATING MAT
I ordered this item to replace an existing one and it is of exceptional quality. The product description and Q&A are both accurate on the web site and I relied on this information when placing the order. The item itself was well packaged and includes the test data, certifications, etc. I installed it on top of a foam insulation pad, then added the old non-skid pad, and taped everything with the supplied tape prior to putting the rug over it. I use this in a covered patio area where it is the primary heat source. The cord includes its own GFCI, although I have one on the outdoor outlets., too. Works great, my cats love it - just the right amount of ambient heat generation. Highly recommended for both product quality and service - Cozy Winters is a first rate retailer.

Love these. Money saving.
I have wood floors throughout the house. They get cold in the winter. I have purchased 7 large under the rug heaters. As a result of using these, my floors are warm, my feet are warm and my heating bill has dropped. I definitely recommend these.

Highly Recommend
I have two of these - one in the living room and one in my home office. I live on the first floor of a condo building so the floors are quite cold in the winter. These heaters are wonderful and keep me very comfortable and cozy - my cats love them too! I have spilled liquid on the rug with no ill effect on the heater's functioning.

SOOO warm! LOVE it
We bought the largest size to go in a room with very little insulation. Game changer! We are now totally comfortable in the room as it is toasty. Added bonus - our cats adore it. Works well, excellent customer service when I had a question, and worth the price. So glad I read the reviews and bought this!

Pleased with purchase
We recently purchased a 5x7 under rug warmer and we are very pleased with it. Our cabin has a concrete slab floor and our feet were cold all winter. A warm rug has made a huge difference, no more cold feet! Thank you!

I'm in Minneapolis and I bought the smallest size 22" x 34" to keep my feet warm under my desk during winter. I've got hardwood floors which are cold, and I generally just wear socks around the house and sitting at my desk. Wearing shoes at my desk isn't something I wanted to do, and I didn't want slippers which I'd have to slip on-off every time I'm at my desk. I wanted a set-it-and-forget-it solution and the combination non-slip pad + heated floor mat works great. I haven't even bought a small rug to place over the top yet but I'll head to Target and do that soon. It's a great product that solved a real problem for me! Currently I do turn it on in the morning and off at the end of my workday but I do have an outlet timer (my Christmas tree lights timer) that I'll hook up soon.

Very nice for under the crib
Baby slept through the night after we installed this. We like knowing that he will be warm because we do not like the Central heating on at night.

Great way to heat recliner

Perfect Solution for Cold Floors
This rug heater was a perfect solution for our cold living room floors. Our electric baseboard heat just wasn't cutting it. We bought the largest rug heater that fit perfectly under our area rug that sits under the living room sofa. It's an area that we spend a lot of time at and it helps keep us warm while watching TV, visiting or letting our baby crawl around on the rug. We have it set up on a timer and that works just fine. Highly recommend for anyone in our situation.

Why oh why did we wait so long?
Why oh why did we wait so long? We live in a 120 year old house. About 25 years ago, previous owners incorporated the back porch into the kitchen but neglected to adequately winterize. Our dog loves it and I nap on it. It is fabulous! Wish it came in a bigger size.

Invisible once installed
The heater works as advertised, and is perfect for my basement where my legs used to freeze even as I was sweating, with the radiator was on full blast. A pleasant surprise was that the heater is practically invisible, even with the anti-slip pad. I expected a bulge to appear but no - under my moderately heavy rug you won't see anything unless you know where to look for. Very happy overall.

Review of: Portable Electric Radiant Floor Heating for Under Area Rugs
I bought this rug heater to use in a violin teaching studio, 10'x15'. My students stand on the rug wearing socks and so get that warm, comfy feeling that you would normally get only from radiant floor heating. This is a separate structure from the home, in Alaska, with a small, portable, electric oil heater also in the room. So far so good. We have only had temperatures down to 30F at night so far and expect to get down to 10F later in the season. I use a timer for both the rug and the oil heater which starts warming the structure 5 hours before students arrive each day and turns off when they leave in evening.

A great home upgrade
My sunroom isn't as well insulated as other parts of the home, and now I use it as my home office. This was a great addition and takes the chill out of the room.
