iPhone Survives Skydiving 1,000 Feet Without a Parachute

If you had the opportunity to bout your hometown in a vintage airplane, you'd probably reach for your smartphone to snap a few photos, correct?

As one woman can now adjure, that's perchance not the all-time decision. Co-ordinate to a report from Iowa's Who TV, Sarvinder Naberhaus was flying over Aimes, Iowa with friend Donna Johnson earlier this month in a historic open up cockpit biplane when she pulled out her iPhone to document the unique adventure. The strong current of air ripped the iPhone right from her hand and sent the handset plummeting effectually 1,000 anxiety to the ground below.

In such an instance, one might assume that they'd never meet their phone once more. In the rare case it was actually recovered, the handset would exist completely shattered from such a driblet, right?

Luckily for Naberhaus, this story has a surprisingly happy catastrophe.

Miraculously, the woman was able to locate the device on the side of the road in tall grass using Apple's Find My iPhone feature. Even more amazing is the fact the iPhone notwithstanding worked!

"I literally went into shock," friend Johnson told WhoTV. "'I asked this [sic] is this for real? Is that the same telephone?'" and I said 'this is a miracle telephone, you can't drop a phone 1,000 anxiety and have it nevertheless work!'"

If y'all accidentally drop your phone from a plane, just sign into iCloud or the Discover My iPhone app to see your missing device on a map. Observe My iPhone displays the locations of whatsoever connected iOS devices currently turned on.
